Cypress Grove along the Appian Way

We had lunch on the grass waiting for the Catacombs to open. I loved this scene of cyprus trees and the mountains in the background. This is along the Appian Way, where Paul traveled in Acts 28:15, and outside the city walls built by Marcus Aurelius in the second century. The catacombs were very impessive, and so was the espresso from the vending machine right behind us...
