These
are fishing boats on the beach in Nerja, Spain. In the background is the
Balcon de Europa. I attempted to paint with less detail in watercolor
this time. For example, the people are just shapes and the buildings on
the cliffs are just roof lines. It brought back great memories of our
sabbatical in 1997, and our weekend trip to the southern coast of Spain
from our two month home base in Madrid.
